The high-capacity alternator provides additional amperage output required when operating certain electrical attachments at low idle for long periods of time.

The high-capacity alternator provides additional amperage output required when operating certain electrical attachments at low idle for long periods of time.
At high idle, the kit provides up to an additional 60 amps for a cumulative output of 82 amps when combined with the vehicle's existing output. At low idle, the output is approximately an additional 22 amps.
NOTE: High-capacity alternator kits are available for the HPX 4x4 (gas model only).
